Prerequisites
The practical driving training takes place on a manual and automatic vehicle, in which you drive a manual vehicle for at least 10 driving lessons of 45 minutes each, followed by a test drive of at least 15 minutes. If you pass this test drive, which takes place inside and outside built-up areas, you will receive a certificate in accordance with Appendix 7. The actual driving test accompanied by a TÜV examiner can then be taken in an automatic vehicle.
Do you want to have your automatic note removed?
Since the introduction of the B197 driving license, the automatic restriction can be removed by replacing the key number 78 with the new key number 197. All you have to do is pass 10 shifting lessons and the 15-minute test drive with one of our driving instructors.
