“Summer 2026 Promotion” — Driving School Abgefahren

1: ORGANIZER
The “Summer 2026” campaign (hereinafter “campaign”) is being carried out by:

2: PROMOTION PERIOD
 The promotion runs from June 14, 2026 to July 26, 2026 inclusive.
The live drawing for the VW UP! and the free driver’s license will take place on TikTok live on July 26, 2026 at 7:00 PM.

3: ELIGIBILITY
 Only the following are eligible to participate:
a) Natural persons aged 16 and over residing in Germany (the legal minimum age must be met for the Class B car driving license)
b) Persons who conclude a binding training contract with the Abgefahren driving school during the promotional period (June 14 – July 26, 2026) and have paid the registration fee of €99 in full
c) Persons whose residence is in the greater Düsseldorf area or who demonstrably plan
to complete their driving training in Düsseldorf. The following are not eligible to participate:

  • Employees and members of the driving school Abgefahren and their family members
  • Persons who have already concluded an apprenticeship contract before June 14, 2026
  • Persons under 16 years of age

4: PARTICIPATION
Participation is achieved by:
1) Completely filling out the registration form on the promotion page
2) Paying the registration fee of €99
3) Concluding a binding training contract with the Abgefahren driving school
4) Accepting these terms and conditions of participation. Participation is only possible once per person. Multiple registrations are excluded.

5: PROMOTIONAL BENEFITS
 As part of this promotion, all eligible participants receive the following benefits:
a) Registration fee only €99 (instead of the regular price)
b) First aid course INCLUDED in the promotional price
c) Intensive course INCLUDED in the promotional price

6: PRIZES — LIVE DRAWING
 The following winners will be drawn live on TikTok on July 26, 2026 at 7:00 PM from all eligible participants:

1) GRAND PRIZE: 1× VW UP!

  • Used vehicle, model year [insert]
  • Market value: approx. [insert]€
  • Condition: “As shown in the action photos”
  • Handover after successful completion of driving license training at Abgefahren driving school (see §7)
    2) ADDITIONAL PRIZE: 1× complete driving license free of charge
  • Coverage of all costs for theory, practice, exams, driver’s license application, medical examination and eye test
  • Applies to class B (passenger car)
  • Maximum value: €3,500

7: WINNING REQUIREMENTS — IMPORTANT!
 The prizes (§6) will only be awarded under the following conditions:
§7.1 — For BOTH prizes:
a) The winner must complete their ENTIRE driving training at the Abgefahren driving school (theory + practice in full)
b) The winner must successfully pass the theoretical and practical exams
c) The training must be completed within 18 months of signing the contract
d) The training contract may not be terminated by the winner
e) If the winner switches to another driving school during the training, the prize claim is forfeited without compensation

7.2 — Specifically for the VW UP!:
 a) Handover after passing the practical test and receiving the driver’s license
b) The vehicle will be handed over in its current condition (“as seen”)
c) The winner bears all costs for: vehicle registration, insurance, MOT/roadworthiness test, any repairs after handover
d) Cash payment of the prize is EXCLUDED
e) Transfer of the prize to third parties is EXCLUDED

7.3 — Specifically for the free driving license:
 a) The license will be transferred retroactively after passing the test.
b) Amounts already paid will be refunded AFTER passing the practical test.
c) A maximum of €3,500 will be refunded.
d) Additional services such as special trips, cross-country trips, etc., are included up to the regularly required amount according to driving school law.
e) Remedial courses due to repeated failures are NOT included and must be paid for by the winner.

8 IN CASE OF TERMINATION OF TRAINING

If the winner discontinues the training, terminates it prematurely, or switches to another driving school:
a) The prize claim is forfeited completely.
b) Amounts already paid will NOT be refunded.
c) The VW UP! vehicle will NOT be handed over.
d) A new draw will NOT take place .
In cases of demonstrably health-related discontinuation (e.g., illness), a goodwill arrangement may
be made after individual review.

9. DRAWING & ANNOUNCEMENT
 The drawing will take place on July 26, 2026 at 7:00 PM during a TikTok live stream on the official Abgefahren driving school channel. The winners will be selected randomly under notarial supervision OR by a certified random number generator system.
The winners will be:

  • Announced live on stream
  • Contacted via email/phone
  • Announced on social media (with their consent)

10: ACCEPTANCE OF PRIZES
 The winner(s) will be contacted within 48 hours of the announcement.
Acceptance of the prize must be confirmed within 7 days of being contacted.
If the prize is not accepted or there is no response within this period, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be drawn

11: DATA PROTECTION
 Participation is subject to the GDPR.
The following data will be collected and processed:

  • Name first Name
  • Address
  • E-mail address
  • Telephone number
  • birth date
  • Payment information
  • Photo/video material will be taken during the live drawing (only for winners, with their consent).
    The data will be used exclusively for the execution of the promotion and for fulfilling the contract.

12: USE OF IMAGE AND SOUND MATERIAL
 By participating, the winner agrees that:
a) their name may be published on social media
; b) photo and video material of the prize handover may be used for marketing purposes by the driving school Abgefahren;
c) this use is permitted without time or geographical limitations
. Publication will only take place with the express consent of the winner (separate declaration of consent).

13. EXCLUSION OF PARTICIPANTS
 Driving school Abgefahren reserves the right to exclude participants without giving reasons,
in particular in the case of:
a) violation of these terms and conditions of participation
b) manipulation or attempted fraud
c) multiple registrations
d) use of false data
e) inappropriate behavior towards driving school staff

14. CHANGES AND TERMINATION
 Driving school Abgefahren reserves the right to prematurely terminate, interrupt, or modify the course for important reasons.
Important reasons include, but are not limited to: technical problems, attempted tampering, legal issues, force majeure, and violations of regulations. In such cases, alternative solutions will be offered.

15. DISCLAIMER
 Driving School Abgefahren assumes NO liability for:
a) Damages resulting from the use of the won vehicle (after handover)
b) Accidents during or after driving lessons, unless caused by the driving school itself
c) Technical defects of the VW UP! after handover
d) Consequences of failing the driving test
e) Tax consequences of the prize (tax liability for prizes in kind must be clarified by the winner) Liability remains unaffected in cases of intent and gross negligence.

16: TAXES
 Any taxes on the winnings (especially income tax on prizes in kind) must be borne by the winner. We recommend consulting a tax advisor if you have any questions.

17: LEGAL REFERENCE
 Legal recourse is excluded. German law applies to any disputes. The place of jurisdiction is Düsseldorf, to the extent legally permissible.

18: SEVERABILITY CLAUSE
 Should any provision of these terms and conditions of participation be or become invalid, this shall
not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a provision that most closely approximates its intended economic purpose.
