Roadmap to the driver's license

Registration

Start your driving training by registering for a driving license class with us. This is very easy to do during our opening hours at our branch at Ellerstrasse.53 Düsseldorf, where you will receive personal advice. All you need is your identity card and, if necessary, a declaration of consent from your parents if you are not yet 18. We will provide you with the best possible and individual support throughout the entire process for your driving license.

Applying for a driver's license

After you have received your contract and the application form for your driver’s license, you will also need proof of an eye test, a first aid course, a passport photo and the relevant application fees. It usually takes around 4 to 8 weeks to process the application. In Düsseldorf, you can also apply online.

Theory lessons

You can start your theory lessons while your application is being processed. The number of theory lessons varies depending on the class, for example for the B driving license there are 14 units of 90 minutes each, divided into basic material and class-specific additional material.

Driving lessons

As soon as you are ready for your driving lessons, let us know your wishes regarding driving instructors and lessons. Our team will then get in touch with you to arrange appointments. You will start with practice driving lessons, which will take you through various stages of driving training, right through to special driving and exam preparation.

Theory test

As soon as your application has been approved, you will receive a letter from TÜV and can book your theory test. You must have completed all the required theory lessons and be well prepared for the test.

Driving test

A few weeks before you complete your driver training, we will apply for the practical test together with you. As soon as the date has been confirmed, you can take the test. If you pass the test, you will usually receive your driver’s license straight away.
